National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wrote in his book "The Spiritual World of Turkmens": "Hard work is essential for the formation of useful skills in a person. The moment of hard work cant be compared with anything [1, 146 p.]. Labour provides human comfort and increases prosperity. People who are busy with hard work also have a good time. Hard work protects a person from bad habits and unpleasant thoughts. A person who is found by hard work is intelligent, wise, ambitious, courageous, patient, polite, and wise. Work develops a persons ability to think, educates mentally. It directs a person to be patient, satisfied, to appreciate health and honesty. That is why there are many sayings by our ancestors about labour. If the folk sayings "Work will find intelligence, mind will find work", "Start your work with intelligence and finish with talent" remind that hard work improves human talent, "If we do not plough the field, the bread will not be appreciated", Folk proverbs such as "Don’t eat bread without pain, dont wear clothes without stains" indicate the importance of hard work in the upbringing of children.Honesty, earning honestly is related to the concern for family unity, happiness and peace of the nation. Honest work, honesty is one of the highest moral qualities of humanity. In Turkmen folk tales, the concept of honesty is one of the main ideas. An example of this is the folk saying, "Honesty will earn living."The National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, wrote in his book "The Spiritual World of Turkmens": "There is beauty in hard work. In the images of women who bake bread, spin, and urinate silk, in the image of a farmer who plows the earth with his hand, a gardener who takes care of a garden, and a blacksmith who spends a long day at the stove the most beautiful moments of life are concentrated. A persons understanding of the value of work enhances his dignity, because hard work is the result of the cultivation of his natural abilities" [1, 148 p.]. Therefore, our fathers paid a lot of attention to the education of children from childhood. They create a love of professionalism and lead by example in these jobs. For example, “From the farmer, the earth is blessed”, “He who has missed his turn at the mill will remain guilty,/He who has missed his turn in the water will remain warm”, “He who does not have a footprint in the field will not have a portion in the harvest”, “If you sow you will reap, if you give you will receive”, “Working iron does not rust” “The hand that works, the mouth will bite”, “Every action is the blessing of the land”, and many other proverbs instilling a sense of hard work in younger generation. Our mothers taught girls from an early age to sew and do various handicrafts, prepare food, and organize the house. This national education is reflected on several proverbs as “The hand is a skill”, “The hand is skilful that travels country”, “If the hand is noble, the pocket is full”, “The hand is not warm, the eye is red”.In the Turkmen family, the example of elders and the advice of parents serve as the first school for young people. The older generation denounced laziness, lack of sleep, and explained to children the habit of not getting used to this behavior through proverbs. For example, laziness is condemned in the proverbs: “You don’t get along with Ernegen, no one loves him”, “Dogs open Ernegen’s mouth”, “Ernegen has many tomorrows”, “Ernegen has a short hand, the way to get lost”, “If you give Ernegen a job, he will teach you”. The word “ernegen” in these proverbs means idleness.Several Turkmen folk proverbs and sayings improve young people’s attitudes towards vocational training. “Profession will love its owner”, “Profession will be recommended, if you don’t, you will return to yoga”, “Learn a profession, then you may hate it”, “A person without a profession will have no results”, “A skilled hand will not starve”, “A skilled young man is a fruit tree”. And several other quotes express valuable ideas about the importance of professional learning. Doctors say that work strengthens human health and a person’s spirit. They claim that it provides physical health. Our forefathers instilled in generations through proverbs that leading a healthy lifestyle is closely related to hard work. For instance: “If you work a little, you will become a master, if you don’t work, you will be sick”, “There will be no pain under the sweat”. In the proverbs, it is said that hard work is beneficial to human health as well as being a source of luck and prosperity. The noble principles inherited from our forefathers, such as hard work, honesty, generosity, hospitality, brotherhood, integrity, and unity, form the basis of the education given to our young generations today. Our Hero Arkadags book "The Spiritual World of Turkmens", which is a great example for our young generations, is a school based on those noble principles. It is important for young people to understand the value of work and to appreciate hard work for their bright future.
