ECONOMIC NEOLOGISMS AND THEIR TRANSLATION *

this article analyzes neologisms in English and Karakalpak. At the same time, the Karakalpak translation of English neologisms is shown. The article explains the translation of neologisms in English using examples

Karakalpak economic terminology in the 1930s and 1940s and the first half of the 1950s, mainly economics textbooks translated from Russian and began to find content based on the language of their manuals. At the same time, some shortcomings in the terminology of the industry have been corrected in line with the above-mentioned stability. The second half of the 1950s marked the beginning of a new era in the development of economic terminology. This period is characterized by the intensification of the work of economists in the regulation of economics, the activation of Karakalpak word-formation tools, the creation of new terms and their introduction into consumption. Of course, there are specific reasons for this development. In particular, in the field of economics, it has become an important task to train local staff who can independently create textbooks, manuals and dictionaries on the basis of the native language, and who can deal with the regulation of industry terminology. Thanks to such measures, it is possible to regulate the terminology of economics and economic terminology in Karakalpakstan, to improve the quality of teaching economics. In general, economic words and terms are lexemes created over a long period of time. It is well known that the economy plays an important role in any society. Therefore, words and terms related to economics should be clear, concise and logical. In Karakalpak economic terminology, the issue of nationality and internationality is not complicated, as it is not sufficiently addressed not only in Karakalpak but also in other languages. As you know, the use of the term is a complex process. Because the sound system and grammatical structure of the Karakalpak language are very different from the language in which the term is used. However, an incoming word or term may not be used in the same sense in another language. Sometimes the meaning of a term changes as it enters. As you know, terms vary from one language to another in a number of ways. In particular, a phonetically or phonetically accepted economic word or term must match the sounds of the Karakalpak language. Inconsistent sounds are dropped or exchanged. The lexicon of Russian and European languages is the main part of economic words that have entered and are entering the Karakalpak language. Words and terms from the Russian language are learned orally and in writing. In previous lessons, we divided economic words from Russian into Karakalpak into two groups: 1. From the second half of the nineteenth century to the twentieth century. 2. From the beginning of the XX century to the 90s. After independence, a legitimate and conscious way of learning economic words from the Russian language was chosen. Prior to independence, many economic words in Russian and Karakalpak were used in parallel: Saliq – nalog; Ba`seki – konkurenciya; Payiz – protsent. After independence, Karakalpak economic terminology took a unique approach. These include: Russian international economic terms are used in Karakalpak without translation: valyuta, dollar, kredit, banknot, akkreditiv, lizing, forfeting, libor and so on
