FEATURES OF CREATING DYNAMIC WEBSITES

Abstract: this article discusses the features of creating dynamic web sites and their development. A cross and comparative analysis of the impact of modern technologies on the development of websites was carried out.

Keywords: analysis, method, technology, website development.

Creating a dynamic website is an art that requires certain programming skills and a sense of taste. At the same time, the site should be created as simply and clearly as possible.

A dynamic site is a site that consists of a page template and content that is stored on servers and issued individually to each user. A typical example of a dynamic site is your personal page on any social network. The template of a personal page in social networks is the same for all users , but the content will be different for everyone , since the content on social network pages is determined according to the list of friends and user preferences.

Thus, in a dynamic site, there are two important points:

  • a single template for displaying content for all users;
  • a server that stores content and delivers it on request.

The user visits a dynamic site. Special scripts "read" information about the logged in user:

  • geolocation;
  • browser used;
  • age;
  • floor;

The parameters by which the content for the user is determined are specified by the site developer.

Create a dynamic website

Creating a dynamic site can be done in three ways:

  1. With self-programming. For this method, you need to have excellent knowledge in programming , and you need to be able to create page templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or their frameworks. In addition, you need to know some kind of server-side language such as PHP, Ruby, Python, Java, because you will need to constantly send requests to the server to show the desired content on the page. This method is suitable for professional developers . It is good because with it you can create truly unique sites.
  2. Use content management systems, they are also CMS. Creating a dynamic website this way will require less professional programming skills. All work on developing a site on a CMS will come down to setting it up correctly. Is programming knowledge required for this method? If they are, then it will be easier, easier and cheaper to create your own dynamic site. Most importantly, knowing programming languages , you can create a unique site, as with the first method. Without programming knowledge, the site will turn out to be of a “template” type, because during its development it will be usedready-made site components that other developers use. Thus, this method is suitable for beginners with "zero" knowledge in programming, but on the condition that they are willing to learn how to work with CMS and the basics of the programming languages used to make their site unique.
  3. Use website builders. This method is suitable for beginners and not very suitable for professional web developers . Here you don’t need to know the programming language at all - the creation of a dynamic website takes place at the level of constructor settings and using drag-and-drop technology. It is this way of creating a dynamic site that we will consider today in a little more detail.

Creating a dynamic site using website builders

Creating a dynamic site using website builders has the following advantages:

  1. Development speed - a site can be created in a few hours, or even faster.
  2. Simple site creation, because you do not need to know programming languages. Ready-made templates and block transfer technology are all you need to master.
  3. Suitable for different types of sites: landings , social networks, online stores, etc.
  4. All in one place - you go to the page of the designer and from there you create a site , from there you manage it ; all the necessary tools are located there. Here you can set up an SSL certificate or buy a domain.

Creating a dynamic site on constructors is not the best solution. However, designers are popular, so below we will list the most famous representatives. The popularity of designers is achieved due to the fact that they are very simple and fast to work with. Yes, when you need to develop a large online store for a commercial company, then there is no point in resorting to designers, because nothing efficient will come of it. But if you need a website privately and very quickly, then a website builder is the way to go.

Properly creating a dynamic website is all about using programming skills. If there are no such skills, then you can use the website builder. Yes, in terms of money, the designer comes out a little more expensive, but in terms of time it will turn out as quickly as possible.
